Hypno-Doula Training Workshop
Become a Certified HypnoDoula!

Sunday, February 21, 2010
Gentle Beginnings Birth Center

Information and techniques to aid you in labor-assisting your clients/patients who are using
childbirth hypnosis techniques for their baby’s birth.

As a Doula, Midwife, Nurse or other Birth Professional you are privileged to accompany women through one of life's most remarkable, joyous and life-changing experiences; childbirth. Your Hypno-clients have very unique needs, and if you have the desire to help them to their best advantage, read on!

Doulas, nurses and midwives are such wonderful, amazing women, and make such a difference in every birth they attend – Thank You! Did you know? - Regular natural childbirth techniques are not the best ones for many Hypno-moms. With childbirth hypnosis, most physical and emotional comfort comes directly from going deeper into hypnosis by the use of cues and Hypno-relaxation techniques as well as post-hypnotic suggestions. Couples using birth hypnosis have special needs and there is much you can do to enhance their childbirth experience. I invite you to learn as much as you can for these wonderful people and their Hypno-babies!

You Will Learn:

Ø What hypnosis is and how it is used in pregnancy, labor, and birth, as well as what Birth Hypnosis Programs are currently available

Ø How your client’s history affects her birth hypnosis experience

Ø How Hypnosis affects your client's belief systems, emotional state, and bodily functions

Ø How her dominant senses can change her birth experience

Ø The Amazing Power of Words; Specific language related to birth hypnosis

Ø The unique challenges and needs of the birth couple using hypnosis

Ø How to assess hypnotic depth and mental anesthesia in your clients

Ø Hypnotic Deepening techniques for the Hypno-mom

Ø Fear Clearing and Pain Elimination Techniques

Ø Instant Cues for entering hypnosis - invaluable!

Ø Birth Ball Techniques for Hypno-moms

Ø Caregivers and birth hypnosis: reactions and solutions

Ø Verbal hypnosis Birth Prompts for both Hypnobabies and Hypno-birthing clients

Ø and much, much more!

You will also watch videos of women using successful Birth Hypnosis techniques, as well as receive a Hypno-Doula Training and Resource workbook to complete your certification (no additional certification fee), participate in a hands-on Hypnobabies Birthing Rehearsal and childbirth hypnosis CDs to take home.

Each birthing woman is unique, and as you nurture your Hypno-clients through an easier and more comfortable childbirth, everyone will appreciate the time you took to learn these new skills.
