Event Description

The Pikes Peak Regional Doula Association (PPRDA) is offering FREE informational sessions for pregnant families. Come see us at our Meet-The-Doula forums on the second Sunday of every odd-numbered month 7pm-8pm at Alliance Breastfeeding Center (5664 North Academy Blvd) in north Colorado Springs on the southwest corner of North Academy and Vickers, right behind the Taco Bell.

This month, on Sunday, March 14th, 7pm-8pm, come hear our Doula Of The Month ~ Carrie Anderson speak about how to avoid your chances of having a cesarean birth, in honor of Cesarean awareness month in April. The cesarean rate is 31.8% in the USA, according to CDC 2007 preliminary data. The World Health Organization (WHO) says that it should only be 15%.

Light refreshments will be provided, please join us! Come find out how a doula can enhance your birth and postpartum experience. If you are thinking about having a safe and satisfying birth, you cannot miss this informative event!
