 ust 17th through August 30th, 2009\n\nOur Gathering will take place at
  Nierika in the mountains of Chalmita, about 2 hours outside of Mexico
  City.\n\nThe Quantum paradigm is the melding of conscious birth with 
 undisturbed birth. It includes the respect and co-creation of the holi
 stic paradigm\nyet opens the doorway to soul-level connections and\ngr
 eater levels of empowerment for families and their caregivers.\n\nWe h
 ave begun to understand the significance and the necessityof not distu
 rbing the mother in the process of childbirth.\nWe recognize the value
  of conscious birthing.\nNow let's look at how this model unfolds...fo
 r the family but especially for the caregiver. We invite all midwives,
  doulas, mothers\nand caregivers to join us in this deeper understandi
 ng of birth.\n\n*How does a midwife practice in the realms of a paradi
 gm that does not disturb the mother? How does a midwife dispel fear? H
 ow does she deal with the fear inherent in the current politics surrou
 nding birth?\n\n*How does the caregiver recognize and address complica
 tions yet maintain a safe and fulfilling environment throughout the en
 tire childbirth continuum?\n\n*How can we bring the deeper knowledge o
 f birth that we intrinsically posses, into our practice as midwives an
 d birth attendants?\n_____________________________________\n\nDuring t
 his Retreat we will learn how to BE\nin the realms of the undisturbed.
 \n\nWe'll explore ways to practice without monitoring and managing,\ny
 et feel confident and competent. We'll investigate the source of compl
 ications and discover the tools to let go of them entirely.\n\nWe'll a
 cknowledge the inherent truth of not disturbing the mother during birt
 h AND we'll describe and learn ways to make that a reality of practice
 .\n\nWe have more to offer in the realm of childbirth than we are prov
 iding now.\nOur knowledge goes much deeper and our souls assure us of
