I saw the show the other day. I am currently a Midwifery Student, and I found the segment very frustrating. That being said, I found Rikki and Abby to be quite centered and calming. What was frustrating was that actual statistics were missing. Perhaps they were edited out. Rikki & Abby, and chance of having a CPM or LM or even a CNM on tour with you? Not that you both could not give facts and information, but I think that having someone with their license and initials behind their names, would add some credibility. Just a thought.

hey how is everyone doing...im a new member as of today. i seen the show doctors today and dr.lisa is weird she was acting like she new everything.....wateva who cars anyway i like this site so far and i should be having my baby girl on aug 19 dont know how i really wanna give birth yet lol i wanna go all natural i know that !!!

I saw the show today...I usually like the Doctors, but Dr. Lisa practically bit ur head off! I am planning on a home water birth and I've been researching for MONTHS! I was really looking forward to maybe hearing more, or an interesting fact I didn't know, but the way she dominated the convo (even got angry at you!) kinda inhibited the positivity of your presentation. However, I'm very glad to see more about the subject portrayed in a positive light in mainstream media. Keep on keepin' on!

This show was interesting - I was really excited to see your presentation as I have been inspired by your documentary and other work in this area. Way to get the word out there concerning all the options women can choose!

Good luck ladies!!!! Those folks are really NOT ooh birth friendly. I have written them many times complaining about their slanted viewpoints and lack of evidence based medicine regarding their OPINIONS regarding homebirth.
