Home Birth is a Right for Women in the UK
Pregnant women in Guernsey are being reassured they can choose to give birth at home if they want to, after fears over a shortage of midwives in the UK.

I agree with Cathy Warwick (head of the Royal College of Midwives). Women with low risk pregnancies should be able to choose either the home or the hospital for giving birth. She stated her concerns about maternity care very clearly. A video of her remarks is included in one of the articles for further information--the one about seismic change.
