I love this site and I am a big fan of the film TBOBB. I planned a homebirth, part of which was influenced by my viewing of the film. I'm so happy I did. I had wonderful midwives and a lovely doula. My heartbreak, though, was that my homebirth dreams ended in the operating room. After nearly 70 hours of labor, it was clear I needed to transfer, and a surgical birth quickly revealed itself as my only option.

I hear the stories that put fear into my mind that you should just go to the hospital. I think nature knows better than anyone the best way to give birth and am glad you were able to transfer to a facility to have your child. Again, thank your for your story.
Permalink Reply by Moeisha on May 8, 2013 at 8:02am Homebirth Cesarean, the closed facebook page, has been instrumental in helping me heal from my own homebirth transport that ended with me in the operating room. I was devastated to say the least. My midwife told me about HBC and through that group of other homebirth cesarean moms, I have found so much healing, support and information.
