The Portland-area’s first baby born in 2011 arrived minutes after midnight, during a Gresham home birth.

Paul Silas Chase, weighing in at 10 pounds, 5 ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches long, was delivered by midwives at 12:09 a.m. in the spare bedroom at the home of his 21-year-old parents, Ben and Nicole Chase.

Great story! This baby was 3 weeks past the due date, 10# 5oz. and look at the picture of this healthy boy.
