Comment by Darcel on September 22, 2009 at 1:03pm: Cindy do you have a baby carrier to wear her in? That helps with bonding so much, and babies usually cry less, plus you'll have your hands free.

Jenn, We are also thinking of trying EC with this one. I've read and heard great things about it. Back in MN, there were a couple of ladies who practiced EC with their babies.

Comment by Cindy Lerner on September 22, 2009 at 10:29am: My daughter is 6 1/2 months now and in the book I'm reading it says it's easier the earlier you start so with my next one I will start from birth. Yesterday I said it was easy and today we have had a set-back, but we just started so it's expected.

We just started and I am so amazed at how easy it is so far. Just wanted to connect with any other moms who do this to compare notes.

Comment by Darcel on August 16, 2009 at 7:22am: I took all kinds of pictures during my 2nd pregnancy. Towards the end I took belly shots every two weeks.
I think a belly cast or painting a picture on your belly with Hunter is adorable, and a wonderful way to include him in the pregnancy.

I've read good things about the co-sleeper. Some nights I used a wooden cradle someone had given us and put it next to the bed.

I haven't tried the New Native, but I've read great reviews on it. I love the Moby. I also have a Hoppediz, and 2 Didymos wraps. I love my wraps :)

Comment by Darcel on August 14, 2009 at 3:49pm: That's great! My midwife was fine with having my then 2.5 yr old come to the apts and she was able to come and go during the birth.
She actually had her 18 mo old daughter who was still nursing on demand at the birth. It was not a problem for me at all. Sounds like you've already got a good MW. I look forward to reading your birth story. Don't forget to embrace your pregnancy along the way :)
