Brittany, there are usually Yahoo Groups that focus on Babywearing in your city. You can try looking some up. That way you can go to a meeting and try out all of the different carriers.

Cherylyn, your welcome :)

Here is a link to baby wearing instructions for a Maya Wrap ring sling. It should work with any ring sling. This will take you directly to the back position instructions:

You can wear the baby on your back with the ring sling.

My baby seems to be getting a little too big for the hotsling and we have a baby bjorn, but I don't really like the way it squeezes her legs (daddy wears it sometimes) and I have a ring sling, but I'd like to find one that can be worn on the back. Does anyone have any favorites? My baby is 6 1/2 months and weighs about 15 pounds. Thanks.

If you like Wraps, I would look into Didymos,Hoppediz,Storchenweige,Dolcino,Neobulle,Zara,Sleepywrap

That's all I can think of now. Have you been to TheBabyWearer.com

I love their for sale or trade section, and it's nice to browse the other types of carriers.
