I am a proud believer in attachement parenting. After my homebirths, I have 100% nursed all of my children to and beyond 1 year old without the use of bottles or pacifiers. I always use a sling, I co-sleep, and stay at home with my babies:).

i'm just navigating my way around the site, but found this group. we are cloth diapering/babywearing/breastfeeding as long as he likes and soon to be babyfood making. hoping to pick up tips, share knowledge, etc.

Parenting the way we do has saved us so much money. It's like people have kids and think they are supposed to work around us, not the other way around.

Extended ecological breastfeeding (no bottles, no pacifiers) is where we are going. We are also practicing Natural Family Planning, using cloth diapers, cosleeping, making our own baby food with child-led weaning, and I am staying at home to take care of our new baby girl. Basically, our philosophy is "natural parenting" and taking it back to how it used to be before "modern" inventions paved the way for "mother substitutes." Just think, all families used to cosleep, keep their babies with them, nurse their babies on demand, etc!

I joined, but I don't think anything will pull me from CM. Plus, I am already in a group for natural birth moms after they have their babies :D
