It is quite small here, so it's great to have on-line buddies. ALACE trained doula, and yoga teacher (including pre-natal). Loaned Bobb and Best Birth to a mom just Monday, and hoping it helps her.

This seems like a great opportunity to share information with other doulas. I have had the great fortune to teach thousands about birth and to assist in more than 350 births throughout the US and in Germany. What a great idea. Thank you

My business is Childbirth Options, LLC and its in Wesley Chapel, FL serving the tampa area. I like to thnak RIcki Lake for doing these for the midwives, birth assistant, and doulas.

I think it is wonderful that you created this forum for birth assistants/doulas and hope that the numbers will continue to grow.
I have been involved in birth personally since the time of my pregnancy with my first daughter 28 years ago ( I have had 6 children 28 - 17) and professionally as a birth assistant/midwife assistant for 16 years and have attended approx 500 births. I am also Director of ALACE Labor Assistant Trainng and have had the privilege of facilitating workshops of 100's of women throughout North America.
The work of birth is a gift and we are so fortunate to be allowed to witness the sacredness of these human beings entering the world and witnessing the transformation of women and men as they become active participants in their lives.
