Hi everyone, I am a mom to 6 great kids, the oldest is 26 married with 2 kids herself and the youngest is a beautiful baby boy who just turned 2! I have been helping women birth their babies since before I had mine but didn;t know I was a doula after the birth of my last one I decided to make it official so I became certified through DONA and am currently awaiting my duel certification from CAPPA, I am also a certified lactation consultant and Happiest Baby on the Block Educator.I am a Florida Native and enjoy anything to do with pregnancy, birth and kids. I love to meet other women who share my passions for birth!

Hey there! I am a SAHM with two girls aged 4 and 1 1/2. I have been a doula since November of 2006 and am very close to being able to appoly for my certification through DONA. I have worked very hard trying to work towards that while balancing life at home with the little ones. I livein Chilliwack, BC, Canada and would love to connect with other Doulas, especially in that area. I have a dream of opening a birth centre somewhere here in BC and am always interested in people who would like to join me on that journey!

Hi there!
I am a sah/homeschooling and doula mom to 8 boys, 1 girl, and another blessing due in December. I have been a doula since 2001 and attend 2-3 births a year. I would love to hear and learn from other doulas.

What is a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist?

Kedi, When you are the sole birth partner...its really like any other, except you are more 'on'. Just follow your intuition. I also find that any CBE helps alot to increase maternal self-efficacy, and I have clients (encourage) them to use mind body therapies, like trained breathing and relaxing as a tool to use...Happy Birthing!
