Anyone who is having trouble with washing should read this :http://rockingreensoap.assistly.com/customer/portal/articles/64986-....  Even if you don't use Rocking Green you can learn something. I know I did. :o) Swish, Who KNEW?

Mel, I am not sure what detergent you are using but there is a great detergent that has a hard water formula. http://rockingreensoap.com/

They have some great scents and it's great stuff. Give that a try. I would also try the dryer balls. Good luck!

Hi all.  I bought a couple of pocket diapers and some organic cotton prefolds.  My baby breaks out when he wears the pocket diapers, so I am sticking with the prefolds for now.  When I dry them, even in the dryer, they feel a little stiff.  I do have hard water.  But I was wondering if the wool dryer balls would soften them, and maby help them dry faster?

I have Rumparooz and really like it but it doesn't look like I can use it as my primary stash.  LO is fine wearing it once in a while but when wearing the same type for several changes his skin starts to complain.

I like the colors and prints and the look, it is a nice fluffy butt.  The inner gussets alone make this diaper worth it, have never had a blowout with them.  They run on the smaller end for a one size but at 22 lbs my LO still has several snaps to go.

Hi everyone! I am anxiously awaiting for my new little one to arrive.  To keep busy I have been reading up on different brands of cloth diapers.  I recently ran across Rumparooz was wondering if any of you had tryed them and what you think.

An elimnation communication question:

My 9 month old girl goes pee in the toilet at every diaper change (every 2-3 hours during the day). If I wanted to keep her dry most of the time does anyone know how often I would have to toilet her?

In other words, how frequently does a 9 month old urinate?

That sounds like a great plan Jessica, Thank you!

I used fitted diapers with covers and prefolds until the cord fell last Friday. LO is still too small for the BumGenius One Size so we will continue this for a bit longer.
