Cotton Babies has great customer service so they might replace the inserts since I know they sell stuff like that that's been returned to them as "repair-ables" in the clearance section every once in a while.

Thanks Bonnie! We have only been using them for 8 weeks (and out off all of the BG 3.0 diapers we have, only one insert is ripping so it's not like they all are thank goodness!). I'm definitely going to call the company!

Katie, I've been using BG 3.0 for about 9 months now and while I haven't had any ripping of the inserts, a few of mine HAVE frayed at the seams. I hope they don't turn into a full on tear! How long have you been using yours? I'd contact the company too if mine started to rip.

BriAnn, I had a very overwhelming ammonia smell with my cloth diapers when I went to stay with my mom for a week and was using her washing machine. I don't know if it was because I needed to use more or less detergent, but the smell went away after I got home and washed them in my own washer once with a few extra hot water rinses. I hope you can figure out what the problem is!

BriAnn- Try soaking them overnight in BacOut, or vinegar and water. Otherwise, stripping them may help.

Hi Ladies,

I have been using the Haute pockets at night which work fantastic, but lately in the morning there has been the strongest ammonia smell. Is there a solution? Is it bad for his skin? Should I try the organic cotton diapers? Not sure if my organics are absorbent enough for overnight use. Any info would help. THANKS!

I have been using GroBaby cloth diapers for about 2 weeks now & I love them. They fit my son great & we have had no problems leaking so far. My favorite thing is that you could reuse the cover over & over.

Has anyone tried the babygrow brand? I haven't been using them that long but I really love them.

I have a question about BG 3.0's. One of the inserts is ripping at the seam, has this happened to anyone?! I plan on contacting the company because I am washing them exactly how they are supposed to be washed.

Hi everyone :) I posted some photos and info on my blog: www.MamasAndBabies.blogspot.com of some diaper covers I made for my kids. Take a look and let me know what you think!
