Hello I'm new here but I am trying to get an etsy shop up and running. I sew and do many other various crafts. Right now I am working on getting lots of little girls dresses listed in my shop. After I finish that I should be adding other items aswell. I'd love any advice on how to make this work. It would be fantastic to have this become very successful for us. Here is a link to my etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BlumesBlooms

Ladies,

Any advice for a 26 year old hoping mom-to-be that would love to get behind this movement as a smart, savvy, and entrepreneurial business minded woman? I have been looking for a job to combine my passion for midwifery and my skills as a business mind, but have come up with nothing. No matter how hard I search it feels as if a lot of this movement is still underground. I am currently in Philadelphia, but my husband and I have also been looking to move to either the Austin or Dallas, TX area in the near future.

Any advice on any non-profit organizations in need of a business person or any other ideas you can give me in general or places to look for such positions I would greatly appreciate! Thank You!!

Hello Ladies!
I'm a WAHM to three beautiful little girls ages 5, 3 and almost 1. I also own my own photography business (www.e3photographystudio.com) here in Las Vegas, NV.
It's nice to find other moms that are going through the same struggles, challenges and joys that I am. Looking forward to getting to know some of you! :o) - Erika

Hello to all you wonderful mamas! I feel very at-home on here already because we are all so truly like-minded. It's great to see.

I work from home selling advertising for The Autism File magazine. It is the leading specialty publication on autism spectrum disorders in the world. We started in the UK but havem, within the last year, expanded to the US and Canada.

Our magazine focuses on biomedical and natural treatments to recover and prevent autism and to minimize as much toxicity in the lives of our readership. We are looking for advertisers who provide safe, toxin-free, "green" products, as it is neccessary for these kiddos.

It's a way long story of how I got involved with autism but I'd be happy to tell you if you ask me :)

I am always willing to do product reviews and write about it and post it for free on our website (which is getting a major overhaul/upgrade), so feel free to message me. Your business will be added to our extensive online directory. www.autismfile.com

I am looking forward to learning much from you all :)

Mother's Utopia Lactation Srvcs. Comment by Mother's Utopia Lactation Srvcs. on March 1, 2010 at 4:51pm
Hi Everybody,

I'm a Lactation Consultant in private practice in Southern California, mother of a 3 year old breastfeeding girl and loving every moment of my motherhood journey.
I was born in Ecuador, so I'm bilingual in Spanish and English. I earned a Bachelor's in Economics, but my daughter's birth changed my life. I've been working with moms and babies ever since; however, just recently, I decided to open my private practice "Mother's Utopia". My focus is to continue supporting not just initiation but long term breastfeeding for families who need compassionate support and evidence based breastfeeding and baby care information. I offer Lactation consultations in English and Spanish, as well as many classes such as: breastfeeding basics, baby care basics, Introduction to solids, pumping and returning to work, mother's groups and much more. My online breastfeeding supplies store will open soon. All these services are offered worldwide over the internet via Skype and Yahoo Messenger.

I look forward to connecting with other professionals, sharing experiences and expanding/strengthening our business and helping the world be a more humane place.

All the best,

Saray Hill, BS, IBCLC, RLC
