rest assured, its probably not! just a surprise! and a nasty one at that...

you'll know if it comes back in a month, but i would think that since you bled so long that there was a little bit still retained in there that has now come out.

Okay, this is so NOT a breastfeeding related post but I'm not sure where else to pose the question. My midwife has discharged me from her care or else I'd just ask her... I had postpartum bleeding for 6 weeks and then nothing but scant almost white discharge for a week but now I'm flowing again! Would this be my period returning? Isn't 7 weeks postpartum really early to get it back? I'm exclusively breastfeeding on demand so I thought I'd have a bit more time... Any thoughts?

Jamie. Thank you SO very much!! I bought 2 bras from motherwear.com and was so disappointed. I would have had more support wearing a tight t-shirt. I will certainly check this sight out and see what I can find. I feel lucky that we have a family so supportive of breast feeding. I have friends whose parents and relatives think they are crazy for wanting to breast feed.

Hi Meredith! I've had the same problem! Made all the worse because I can find a cup size that will fit, but then the band is way to big and I don't get near enough support!!! I've found a web sight called Bravissimo.com. They're located over seas, but are for lager breasted woman! I've even found cute swimming suits that give great support(something I have never found here!!) They have wonderful customer service. I've emailed them a few times and they got back to me right away. They offer some very cute cute nursing bras. The only problem that I found is that their sizes run a little smaller. I usually wear a 34DD, but with them I had to get 34F/E. But I also have very round breasts. So that could be the issue. They don't offer underwire because it's not recommended to wear them while nursing since your breasts will fluxuate with milk volume. Took me awhile to get used to that, but now I think no wires is more comfy! I hope that helps!!! Good Luck!!! Breastfeeding is awesome and so rewarding!!!

Hi Rhoda!
If you are stay at home, you could choose to try to nurse more often, up your water and 2 cups of Mothers Milk Tea for a week if you are not allergic to its' contents:)

Hi Meredith, Congratulations on your decision to breastfeed! Regarding nursing bras, I have gotten many of mine through Amazon. You can just type in "42f nursing bra" in the search box and many selections should come up (just make sure you are searching "all departments" and not just "books"). Good luck!
