Early Baby at Home, Anyone?
I was just wondering if anyone had their baby early at home, or have an experience with having their baby early? I have this really strong feeling that my baby will come early, but my midwife said as long as I make it to 36 weeks I can still have a homebirth. I just have to make it about 10 more days! Fingers crossed! Anyhow, I would love to hear any stories, thoughts, or opinions on this subject. Thank you!

aw... I hope you make it to your 36 week mark. I wish I had a story to offer you my babies must have been on Puerto Rican time they were born at late 43 weeks and 41w5d.

Surprisingly, my water broke at 37 weeks, just days after my midwife's home visit. After 14 hours, I still hadn't gone into active labor, so the midwife came and brought labor on with black and blue cohosh. It worked immediately and after 4 hours of labor and 11 minutes of pushing, my little girl Emerson was born. She was 5 lbs 14 oz. and very healthy. She was not jaundiced at all and latched on within minutes. You'll make it, just hang in there.
