I just posted an amazing birth video of a mom relaxing through a pressure wave at 9cm. It is on the Hypnobabies Blog!

Ladies, sorry I've been a little MIA lately. I've been working with Kerry Tuschhoff to make sure our mommies needs are being heard and addressed. Please let me know if there are any questions you would like me to share with Kerry. As the Founder of Hypnobabies and a certified Hypnotherapist, Kerry is so passionate about helping women everywhere have comfortable, and most importantly safe birth experiences.

Thanks for sharing this experience Marinda. I have also heard many similar stories in which moms are so relaxed and in control of their birth because of the tools that Hypnobabies has provided that by the time they do get to the hospital they don't necessarily have to be in labor that much longer. They are basically ready to push! Keep us posted on any other great experiences. Hope all is going well in your classes and with your Hypno-moms.

Just did a Hypnobabies birth this last friday. Mom was going about her day (while laboring) and she hardly felt a thing. She was so comfortable that when I suggested we head to the hospital (i was her doula) she thought I was crazy. She didn't want to go to the hospital to be sent home. She didn't think it was really happening. When we arrived at the hospital, she handled a few more contraction and then it was time to push. Her baby was born less than an hour after arriving at the hospital. Afterward she told me she was so glad, because she was a rockstar. Her Hypnobabies really helped, and she got her natural birth.
Hypnobabies is such an amazing tool for any pregnant mother. I love being a doula, a Hypnobabies instructor, and most of all I love Hypnobabies births.

For those who are not sure if you can be "hypnotized" or use hypnosis for childbirth - all hypnosis is self hypnosis which means you have complete control over your mind at all times. You choose freely to accept or reject any of the suggestions in the hypnosis scripts used in Hypnobabies. This is the great thing about the program, it gives mom full power to make the best choices for her and her baby.
