Whatever you do, don't force the issue! That can make things much worse for both of you.
Have you tried letting him run around naked, or bottomless? We would always put the potty in the living room, and they picked out a toilet seat for the bathroom.

You could also try asking him if he wants to sit on the potty every 20 mins, especially after drinking something.

well with my daughter I kind of had it easy she was completly potty trained in three days no diapers since. What I did was it was right before her second b-day she was ready she started telling me ether before or after she had gone in her diaper. I made chart on the all bought her favorite stickers and if she went in her potty she got to put a sticker on the chart. I was going to do is after certain amount of stickers get her a toy but the stickers alone seemed to work. I also found that putting the potty in the bathroom didn't work living room was good. hope this helps

i am a stay at home mother and i am currently trying to potty train my son who will be 2 in july is there any tips or advice anyone can give me i would really appreciate it seems he doesn't go anywhere but on the floor and i am at a loss as to what to do he is my first and i really don't want to give up.

My baby have joined this baby model contest called "the next SOFT baby".

would not trade it for n e thing and "it" i mean the homebirths (planned) of our last 5 children....i was too naive to do it the 1st time with our 11 yr. old and i truly do regret not taking that leap of faith in myself and my mid-wife. but i do realize that i have been able to experience something that most women wont or dont even know is an option....is still blows my mind! :)
