Stay at Home Moms

A group for those of us who have the opportunity to stay home and raise our babies. Some of us have been privileged enough to be home before but for others this is their first time out of the workforce and it can be scary.

I think its great for kids to play with others or else they dont seem to adjust well with others...i keep kids at my house and am finishing up online classes for our son is VERY use to other older kids and rolled over, crawled, pulled to stand early and will be walking within the next month (he is SO close) and he is only 7 months old! so its GREAT for kids to be around other kids and learn how to share and to play with others and be able to self soothe and not need a parent at ALL times

ok so i just had to stop in and say that i had the best day that a stay at home mommy could ever have! mornin' when i woke up my hubby had suprised me with a mini vacation of my own!...He had planned for his mom to come and watch kaleb so i could go get a pedicure, hot stone massage, eyebrows waxed, and even a little shoppin' spree!!...He said it was my time to get ready for our family vacation so i didn't feel uncomfortable when we were out and about, and so i could be more's too sweet...always thinkin' about me!! just thought i'd share!

i don't think that i could do a camping trip with a 21 month old...maybe when he gets a little bigger! my husband and i have never went anywhere without our child. i just don't like leavin' him with relatives over too attached! so we prolly wont get any alone vacations until he's older...but oh are for families, right?! I've got the zoo, sea world, six flags, maybe a trip to the lake (not in our town tho, its too gross!)...maybe to an aquarium if i can find some close ones...we took him to the races the other day..and oh my did he love it!! all he would keep sayin' was vroom vroom...vroom vroom! it was too cute! so im ready for more trips like that so he can experience the real world! (= so keep throwin' ideas at me ladies....i've got a whole month of free time with my family!!!

Ok so my hubby gets a whole month off for vacation...i've planned our family vacation, and some random little trips, like to the zoo, six flags, and some pool side locations....does anyone have any other ideas that would be fun for a nearly 21 month old, plus (= oh and we live in texas by the way.

lol, you don't have to be crafty, just buy 6 years of t-shirt like fabric ( at least 30 inches wide) amd use it! if it's 60 inches wide cut it to 30 and you have 2! wrap it the same way as a moby. =)
