A group for those of us who have the opportunity to stay home and raise our babies. Some of us have been privileged enough to be home before but for others this is their first time out of the workforce and it can be scary.

Tantrums! My little one bangs her head on the floor or on whatever she is mad at -at the moment. She started doing it at about 10 months.

How are all the stay at home ladies doing?! Sometimes i just wanna pull my hair out when things dont always go the way i want them too...but then i remember that not everyone gets to stay at home and raise there child..and i'm blessed to be able to do that! I was just wondering if any of u ladies had some potty training advice...I have a 20 month old, and the diapers have got to go! Whats the best potty on the market, and do u recommend chairs or the sit that goes on the potty??

Tarrah, we made up signs with our son. He didn't have very good finger control so we used signs that he could do with his whole hand. good luck!

Hi. I'm a very blessed and pregnant SAHM to my 2 kids, so I'll have 3 in Sept. :-) I go to college fulltime online right now for my teaching degree. I can't imagine not being home with my kids everyday, even through the times when they are driving me nuts. LOL!
Anyways, I am going to have an all natural waterbirth at the hospital with a midwife in attendance this time around, and I can't wait. I know I can do it. :-) I practically went all natural with my 2nd child, since the only intervention was what the dr. pushed without my paying attention, so I just hope to find some more tips on how to deal with the pain without any meds at all.

I just had my second child 5 weeks ago but it's the first time I'm a stay at home mom. I go to school online, though, because I would pull my hair out if I didn't have a little something to do that doesn't involve babies and toddlers. I love, love, love my daughters and being with them for the important and the not-so important moments throughout the day. I'm blessed that I can manage that.
