The silver kills infection, wherever, so you can use it for just about anything. I've heard really good things about garlic oil too.

My midwife actually said for ear infections get garlic olive oil warm it up and out it in a cotton ball and let it sit in their ear it will take away the inflamation. I used the coloidal silver for kidney stones. it is supposed to be good for just about anything.

The doctor may or may not be supportive of using silver, because it's considered "alternative" and not within a doctor's scope of knowledge (mainly because it's not regulated by the FDA). I used it without telling the pediatrician. It's your call :)

I have heard of people using silver as well, for many things actually. That is where the expression "born with a silver spoon" came from. Back in the day, it was used to help heal sicknesses, etc. Anyway, my girlfriend is into natural remidies and she uses it even when she isn't well.

Tarrah, my little one had 3 infections in 2 months also. I gave her the antibiotics for 10 days, plus I put a drop of colloidal silver in her ears a few times a day until the fluid cleared up, and we haven't had any trouble since. The Dr. had suggested either preventive antibiotics for 3 months or tubes and I didn't like either option, which is why I tried the silver.
