@ Jaqui - Antibacterial soap is very bad for our health and the environment. It creates super bugs that cannot be killed. Not all bacteria is bad, but that stuff kills even the good bacteria, so it can actually MAKE you sick. Very bad stuff. Here's a link:

@ Emily - CONGRATS!! Wonderful news (: Hope for a healthy and happy 9 months <3

@ Jenny- Thanks for sharing all your baby knowledge with me I appreciate it a lot! I'm also having a hard time eating I just seem to have no appetite at all. Just curious why you suggest to wash my hands with soap and not antibacterial?

@ Jaqui - I am almost 10 weeks and I still don't have energy! My hubby has been cooking and cleaning pretty much every day. You are growing a human being in there, it's very exhausting (: As for being sick, I've already been sick twice. Once was just bad allergies I think. I also got my first cold sore since I was 12 years old. Eat as healthy as you can, continue your prenatal vitamins, maybe add some vitamin C and D. I'm still having a hard time eating much, so I am making sure to supplement.  Our immune systems are a bit weaker during pregnancy, so it's common to get sick. Make sure you wash your hands frequently with REGULAR soap and warm water. No antibacterial! Hope you start feeling better momma!

Thanks Jenny!:) I was wondering if anyone out there knows if it's a bad sign if I'm 6 weeks pregnant and if I have a cold and just feel like I don't have much energy?

You are very welcome! I've had tons of questions too. I am like you, I want to make sure I'm doing everything right!

Cramping is totally normal. I was freaking out when I started cramping! As long as you aren't bleeding, it's normal. There's a lot going on in there! I am a little past 8 weeks and still get occasional cramping. It's just the uterus getting bigger (:

Thanks for your information Jenny, you must know how it feels being panic and wanting to know everything that is right for you and your baby so you can have a healthy baby as you are having your first one yourself. I'm just curious I'll get once in a while light cramps it feels like that it will last me 1-2 minutes and its not all the time but it's a few times. Is that normal throughout the beginning of a pregnancy?

High quality Atlantic krill oil is a better option for meat eaters as it doesn't pose a risk of mercury contamination since they are so tiny. I personally take Ovega-3. The Omega 3 is sourced from algae. I was taking flax oil, but this seems like it's better quality, and it also has DHA & EPA, the flax doesn't. I wouldn't worry about the fish oil you have taken already. You are only 4 weeks and you already stopped, you should be fine (: Krill oil would be your best option if you want animal sourced Omega 3.

Thanks Jenny, this is very helpful. I am 4 weeks pregnant and this is our first child as well and I'm also a natural living kinda girl. I have been taking some Omegas and I was just reading online somewhere that it said that we should stay away from fish because of the mercury. So I stopped taking it but I'm just curious if it could have done some harm?
