I read different places that if you just drop nursing all at once that ovulation is more likely to happen right away, whereas if you slowly drop one nursing here and one there it is likely that you will have a couple periods before you are fertile.
I quit nursing my DD on Nov. 22, but I kept filling up so I let her nurse once a day until Nov. 28. We have not been using BC since July trying to conceive. Last Sunday after I went to the bathroom I notice a tiny speck of dark brown blood on the toilet paper, then nothing else until Tuesday I wore a napkin and had a some more (quite a bit more than on Sunday, but not like a period). And it was dark brown. I am just curious to know more. Should I run out and get a pregnancy test? I have thought about just waiting until next Tuesday when it will be a week since I had the bleeding.

For those of you who have had children before, have you every experienced this?

With my first I had implantation bleeding, but not with my second.

I think I am so anxious to get pregnant that I just want this to be it!!

I've never experienced implantation bleeding but from everything I've read that sounds like that might be it. It probobly wouldn't hurt to get a pregnancy test. good luck.
