Share 'Misoprostol (Cytotec) used for miscarriage?'

I've been seeing a lot of women talking lately about having used misoprostol when having a miscarriage to "move things along."  My question is, isn't there still a risk of uterine rupture as there would be during full-term labor?  I'm asking because I'm sadly in the same boat as these ladies and I don't like the idea of having a D&C like my doctor suggested, but I think I'm even more frighten…
