Ok, I stand corrected...I think. I clicked play but immediately clicked further down on the video time-line and it bypassed that donation box. I hope this helps anyone struggling to watch this because everyone's experience is good to hear, just in case it parallels your own  =)

Thank you!!! Your words were perfect!!! Trusting our untried strength even though we know it will hurt...yet we trust. I can't wait for the new film to see more celebrities speak out about normal birth. Too many women are looking to other celebs about surgical birth. I can't wait to make this part of my own teaching to women and their partners and can't thank you enough for sharing your story!

Yes!! Exactly as it should be - trusting our bodies and delivering our own babies is empowering. The sad thing is that most women now are not in touch with that simple and profound truth, don't deliver their own babies, and are disempowered. Not to forget the effects of medical, high intervention birthing on the conscious sentient prenate. Both prenatal and birth trauma are at epidemic levels, so if having 'celebs' speak out about this changes things - yeah!!

Thank you, Cindy. We need more celebrities like you. I remember being on top of the world after giving birth, knowing I could do anything. It is so empowering to give birth naturally without any drugs- some will never understand!

I just gave birth 8 days ago and identify so much with Cindy's description of labor pain and how it can only be understood in the moment. My experience was similar with the "ring of fire" in that I thought the pain would be over after my daughter's head popped out when in truth, the hardest push and pain was just to come, just before you see the most amazing reward in the world! I participated in two triathlons last summer, a walk in the park compared to what we do in labor. Thank you for sharing your story, Cindy!

I always tell my moms that they're going to do the impossible. They are going to actually do something that doesn't seem like it should work. The power and freedom that comes after such an accomplishement is too amazing for me!

Yay - I got to see it. Fantastic - thank you Cindy for sharing. I love it when women claim the birth as theirs and realise it isnt the catcher who deserves the credit. Always great to hear Mums say 'I did it'. I always try to help Mums realise this, either when they are concerned a particular midwife/Dr needs to be there, or after the event when they say "I couldnt have done it without you". You COULD have done it without me - the strength is within you.

This is so wonderful! I enjoyed your birth story, Cindy! I feel like you will empower many women w/ your story. I liked your equation of pregnancy, birth, and breast-feeding to a marathon. and with such intimate revelations of your own experience within, as you birthed your baby, your way!

Brilliant, and taking ownership of your decisions during the birth, empowers you even more.

I don't know what these infants are going to be asked to face during their time on Earth? There is no way our parents knew what we were going to be facing either...all I truly know is where there are mothers willing to give their infants this gentle entry, even knowing she's propelling herself along towards something that could be painful....it is truly the gift of mother love.

Have a wonderful journey with your children, they picked a very special mother!

Bravo- enjoyed the story. I would like to know Randy's part in the process. I am also curious to know if she told family and friends that she planned a homebirth with their second. thank you for sharing. We need to trust in our bodies and spirits more.

I am sitting here with my 7 week old baby on my chest and relating to almost everything that was said. And I have to admit I am in tears thinking about how I brought this little girl into the world the way she deserved to be welcomed.
