A Little About Me
I am an aspiring midwife-to-be who has fallen in love with the home birth movement! After two bachelor degrees I am insanely going back for a third, bachelor of nursing. I have found a passion for birth that is well beyond just sitting at home admiring. I have a drive to be a big part of the hopeful change this country will undergo in how we view birth. After my BSN I am planning on going directly to my master's in midwifery. A long journey, 3 years, but one that I am so excited to take!I have been married to my wonderful husband, Nathan, for 5 years. We are a big part of our local church, Grace Point. I have two beautiful pugs named Lily Faith and Penelope Joy that are a constant a joy in my life. I enjoy singing, shopping, spending time with my husband, and playing with my pugs! We both look forward to expanding our family in the future

I am good. I had an ultra-sound yesterday. 10w5d pregnant. I can hardly believe it!
I feel so blessed to have a wonderful midwife and doula.
I think it is great that you want to become a midwife. What a rewarding and fulfilling career! All the best!
Hey!
How are you doing? You are becoming a midwife?!?!!! That is so awesome :) I am excited for you.
Hey,
I feel good today. Yesterday was rough. I think the journey will be filled with ups an downs. Thankfully my husband is loving and supportive and by my side when I need him. Physically I feel good. The only pregnancy symptom i am really experiencing so far is sporadic cramping. Other than that If feel pretty normal. Really just can't wait to get past the first four weeks!
I am so sorry hun. I will pray for you. I truly hope that you and your husband are able to conceive again soon, and that your next pregnancy carries to full term.
Bethann,
I just read your post about having a miscarriage. I am so sorry to hear. How are you feeling?
On Sunday you said you were still before your period. How did you know you were pregnant?
Hey Bethann :)
Thanks so much for the support. I think it is so wonderful that we can share our journey with one another :)
I am feeling okay. It is amazing how withing just a few days of finding out I am pregnant, I am already on this emotional roller coaster. Some moments I am so happy and excited and can't wait till we have our little baby, and the next moment I am crying and totally overwhelmed with fear about miscarrying again. Right now I am just taking it day by day. Both of my previous miscarriages occurred within 4 weeks of conception, so I feel like once I get past the 4 week mark, I will feel some relief. I find myself praying and talking to God a lot more during this time.
How are you doing? Have you gotten your BFP yet? :) Can't wait to hear how things are going for you.
