About Me
My husband Dave and I are recently married earlier this year. I am stepmom to Dave's 11 year old daughter, Cam, who is with us half the week and her mom the other half. I am a registered nurse at a large hospital on Long Island, NY, and I am back in school to become a nurse-midwife :) We are also trying to conceive! I joined this site to connect with other women on this topic and learn/exchange info about conception and pregnancy. I hope to learn from other women and hopfully contribute something myself!

I pray that you'll be able to work through this loss - working through a miscarriage is really difficult...I remember how I felt when it happened to me :(. Just know that it's okay to let your emotions run their course. When I miscarried, some people said terrible things like "oh, it just wasn't meant to be; don't worry." I couldn't believe it! People mean well but sometimes just don't think about how these attitudes minimize what is really a VERY significant loss!!! I am sending you big healing bear hugs.
