I'm very confident in my belief that these meds do more harm than good. They simply mask the symptoms and do not "cure" the root problem. They are highly addictive and can create serious imbalances in brain chemistry.

My best friend invited me to her birth and I consider that a HUGE priviledge. I have had two homebirths myself and had a doula for one (thank God for doulas!). I'm well-studied and researched but wanted to ask all of you knowledgeable women for advice.

I am a Postpartum Doula and "mom" entrepreneur (really g'mom) so I joined those 2 groups. I saw your post yesterday. I have been committed to chemical-free, "natural" foods for most of my life and have become increasingly involved with and an advocate for a green, environmentally conscious, etc awareness and lifestyle.
