Safety of Baby Being Born in Amniotic Sac ?
Hi Ladies,
I'm pretty sure I came across research on the safety of babies being born in the Amniotic Sac ("en Caul"), but I'm having trouble relocating the source. A friend of mine mentioned that her doctor said that it is dangerous for the baby to be born "en Caul" because the baby could choke and die....I'm sure this is incorrect. The un-clamped cord and placenta are what keep the baby going, and it doesn't take it's first breath until its face is exposed to air. But she was a medical… Continue

We still use disposables off and on. So don't feel guilty for using them :)
Cloth diapering can be overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy and fun.
We use prefolds, covers, flats, fitteds and pockets, and wool.
The wool are diaper covers and we use those for overnight. They don't leak, and are very breathable.
I say keep it simple with prefolds and covers until you get the hang of it. When you feel like trying something different and venturing out, check your local craigslist for cloth diapers and diaperswappers.com

Liev is growing. Not sure how much he weighs, but I can certainly feel it when I pick him up. At first he felt so light compared to Hunter, now there isn't much of a difference.

- i agree....i feel tired no matter how much i sleep so i guess its just getting ready for sleepless nights lol how did your mw appt go? wow im jealous your almost done buying! i still need to go get her more clothes and do the last few things in the nursery! do you have any pics of what yall have done? ill post some on your page when im done :)
