I am a 23 year old a mother of 3, I have two boys Devon and Cameron and our newest little addition Ariana. I am married to a wonderful supporting husband. I watched The BOBB and it inspired me on my journey to my first home birth. I had a beautiful expierence delivering Ariana on April 11, 2010 at home. I work as a hairstylist, but I am just starting to research being a midwife. I love birth and the natural way of doing things. I am into holistic healing and remedies. I love this website because I am able to connect with other like0minded mamas!

We are having our first home birth with our third baby. We have two boys 5 and 17 months, and a baby girl due April 18th. I am having a bit of a dilema. I have an OB appointment in a month. I havn't found a midwife yet, but I'm interviweing one next week. I am planning my first home birth with my 3rd child. My OB delivered my last baby and I really like him. I'm kinda nervous about telling him about my home birth. I am very confident it's what I want, I just am nervous about how he will react. Giving birth Naturally in a Hospital Setting

I didn't think it would be possible. But I determined to give birth naturally in the hospital where I live. I had my forst son there....with an Iv, demoral (horrible) a spinal epidural and a midwife. thanks. I really feel it over last few days. Lower belly is different just had to harden a bit still. I'm just carrying different with this baby that's all. But thank you I like that shirt too. I'm going to get some new ones all my old shirts are mostly long sleeve and I dont like them I love that style I might stick with that.

hey..I was just wondering i was reading one of the forums about positive Hospital births and you said you refused to have an IV ...I wanted to know do you know what thats for, and why you decided not to have it it...I remember getting an IV but I never asked what it was for it was annoying more than anything!!! so that cant FORCE you to do things then right?! I just want to go in standing my ground on things I want and things i dont want..i'll be due here in a month.

Hey hun, I didn't know I could do this but you can add a group if you want to start a group. I'm waiting for approval. I started one on misscariage. Any woman who have gone threw one and need support or are going to try again and are scared ect. I hope people join I think it would be great support for those of us who just need someone to relate to what are fears are because of what we've gone threw.
