About me
I am a SAHM to 5 young children. I have 4 boys ( aged 7, 5, 4, 13 months) then my daughter (age 2). They have all been hospital births (#1 and 3 with Stadol and #3 and 4 with pitocin, #2 and 5 all natural).

I never let them give my babies the Vitamin K shots. After doing research, I found that if breastfeeding, Colostrum has large amounts of Vitamin K in it, so it's a very unnecessary procedure.

I have been told over and over that they are a waste of time, but with my previous pregnancies my dr has always tried to honor my wishes and preferences. Here's the one that I drew up for this birth. It is a lot more detailed than previous ones, partly due to having a new dr this time around and partly due to the research I've been doing.
