I don't know if I agree with that. A homebirth usually allows a mother to do things at her own pace rather than having the baby ripped out of her and possibly causing tearing to the mother or injuries to the baby. Most birth emergencies happen slowly and if a hospital is really necessary there is plenty of time to get there.

I fairly agree with you.But a birth in a  hospital is safer indeed,i think.

A birth in a hospital doesn't have to be bad but unfortunately there are often things I see I don't like. In this particular birth the baby was facing up, called posterior. Normally a baby fits better when it comes out face down. Sometimes doctors get impatient and want to stick vacuums on the head and pull on it and so forth. When actually it might have helped her birth her baby better had she been in the comfort of her own home, maybe laboring in water and pushing on her hands and knees or squatting. And certainly without that buzzer going off in the room.

Every time i see the birth at hospital,i think it`s terrible.
