Kim Nelli delivers Kaden Goodlatte in a nice tub of warm water June 3, 2008

kaden was born into a nice warm tub of water after 24 hours of labor and 13 minutes of pushing. What an amazing and rewarding experience. I can't wait for my next birth. Hope to get pregnant in july.

Hi thank you. Yes when I loom back the suctioning was def unnecessary and the next time I want a hands off home birth! They cut the cord early to do cord blood banking / stem cells.

I love to see it, you are so calm. Well done!

But... Why are they pulling at your babies head (I see three hands there :-( )? Why are they sucking his nose out? Imagine you are such a little baby and this is the first thing you feel... I think this wasn't neccessary and it interupts in the beautiful entrance your baby made into this world.

Also, next time, think about delayed cordclamping...

Congrats with this great birth and I wish you luck with your next pregnancy and birth.
