This was such as wonderful video!! What an amazing journey & so many accomplishments! : ) I can't wait to expereince a natural home birth some day after having my first in a hospital.  Good luck being a midwife, I'm sure you will continue to do wonderful work helping mothers : )

what a remarkable woman you are! When some women would succumb you resisted and did everything in your power to educate yourself and overcome your negative experience. Your story is amazing and very inspirational. As a doula I only hope to resemble the type of influential leader you have become.

This story has touched my soul more deeply than I can express. Feels like Lindsey is an extension of me, and has lived out my fantasy of jumping into the natural birth movement as an advocate, a supporter, and an educator for women- I've been fighting it for 2 years, since the birth of my daughter Nora. Time for me to turn my thoughts and words into actions. Thanks for inspiring me Lindsey!!

what a beautiful story and journey. When i found out i was pregnant i enrolled in midwifery school, i knew i did not want a hospital birth! That experience, assisting in over 50 births, gave me the confidence that there is no better way to birth. I had a water birth and it was amazing. I can't wait to get pregnant again and experience it all over again, i feel like I just want to keep having babies:) is that weird?
I assisted in my sister in laws birth july 22 2009 to a 9lb 3 oz baby girl at 42 weeks. You can only imagine what her experience would have been like in the hospital.

Your children are beautiful! Thank you for posting this :) I think it's amazing you were able to take such a traumatic incident in your life and make it positive...and for the unselfish benefit of women all over the world :) I am thankful you bless others in such a mighty way.
