Parto Libre/Free Childbirth
Parto Libre is a Mexican non-profit civil association founded in November of 2007 by women who work to promote our rights to a humanized, respectful and safe pregnancy, labor and birth from our role as women, mothers, citizens and human beings. We support alternate ways of giving birth: at home or in a hospital with professional midwives, in special hospital units or in clinics, with health professionals that respect the needs and rights of the woman who gives birth, her partner and the baby that is born
